SEEK provides monthly parent support groups to help parents to make connections with one another and to provide current educational trends and information to them. We have provided support groups in various languages in English, Mandarin and Spanish.

Sibling Support Group

Quarterly, we host sibling support groups to brothers and sisters who have siblings with special needs. We provide a safe environment for them to share their own grief, problems, and concerns with trained counselors in small group settings. We also prepare games, prizes, snacks, and helpful material (books) for the participants. Our goal is also for them to understand more about their siblings’ disabilities and ways to better cope with their circumstances. We encourage them to form friendships among themselves since they all share a very unique situation.
