Public Relations Specialist

Brief Description of SEEK Education

SEEK Education is looking for an experienced Public Relations Specialist who will build the department from the ground up to manage the public relations, client relations, marketing and design of materials used for promotion and fundraising, and design and development of the company website.

Major Job Duties include:

-          Development and execution of a PR plan to promote company branding

-           Development and collaboration of company marketing strategies

-          Writing and editing of materials used for media and marketing purposes

-          Manage fundraising and grant campaigns

-          Utilizing current media contacts and developing new contacts

-          Development and maintenance of web site material

-          Responding to media calls

-          Writing and editing of company newsletter

Experience Required:

-          Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar position

Knowledge of:

-       Software  Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint

-       Web Design and Development

-       Social Media Outlets

Strong verbal, written, interpersonal and presentation skills are essential.

The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, able to multi-task, possess a bachelor’s degree in public relations, communications, journalism or in a communications-related field.
