Research & Development

Research & Development

research_development_imgGiven SEEK Education’s mission to provide effective behavioral interventions to special needs, it is not surprising that clinical research is one of our top priorities. Interest in identifying and developing interventions that are based on strong empirical evidence has become the “gold” standard in service delivery and is considered “best practice.” Moreover, these efforts are part of a broader movement of increased accountability. It is our research mission to be at the forefront of developing, implementing, and evaluating best clinical interventions as well as best practice with respect to service delivery (i.e., staff training and management) in our service provision. Some of our current research is focused on developing an effective intervention to teach door-answering safety, developing a video-preference assessment methodology, and looking at competency-based staff training.
